Kimberly serves as volunteer Regional Area Advisor for Hawaii chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. SCBWI is the global organization for authors and illustrators of books for children and young adults.

Kimberly mentors Hawaiian-based creators of children’s and young adult literature, together with a fabulous regional team.
